Baraboo’s largest collection of vintage circus wagons grows even bigger

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Four historic circus wagons are being added to Circus World’s collection of over 250 wagons. They were last displayed in 2013.
Officials said the main attraction returning to Baraboo is the Ringling Bros. Bell Wagon. The 19th-century wagon features nine bells weighing about 4,300 pounds. It is believed to be the last remaining circus bell wagon in the world, officials added.
The other three wagons rolling into Circus World is the 1905 Hagenbeck-Wallace Lion’s Bride Tableau Wagon, the 20th-century John Robinson Bandwagon No. 1 and the 1903 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Hippo Cage Wagon No. 73.
